Dear Resident

We are appealing to the community for information following a burglary and further criminal damage at Birchen Coppice School.

The burglary took place between 14:30 - 15:00 on SATURDAY 19TH APRIL 2025 and subsequent criminal damage from approximately 17:00 hours on the same date. 

In relation to the burglary, three offenders, believed to be male youths are described as follows;

Suspect 1 - Slight build and wearing grey hooded jacket with navy blue long sleeves and grey hood. Navy blue and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Suspect 2 - Slim build and wearing black hooded jacket with grey long sleeves and grey hood, black tracksuit bottoms and a black balaclava. He was also wearing red gloves.

Suspect 3 - White male, short dark hair and wearing a black hooded jacket and grey jogging bottoms.

The offenders caused damage to three, wooden outbuildings and a dark, metal box containing items was stolen.

In relation to the criminal damage, the same three suspects re-entered the school grounds at approximately 17:00 hours with an additional two individuals described as follows;

White male approximately 14 years old with short, dark hair. He was wearing a long sleeved, black tracksuit top with a hood and black jogging bottoms.

White female approximately 13 years and wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood and grey leggings.

On this occasion, the group caused damage to a memorial plant, a wooden fence and a wooden caravan.

Did you see anything suspicious or have any information that might help enquires? We are very keen to speak to anyone with CCTV or ring doorbell footage of these individuals.
