Police and fire hub in Redditch wins Delivering Value Award

The state-of-the-art police and fire hub in Redditch has won a top award at this year’s Constructing Excellence Midlands West Awards.

Delivering on Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion’s commitment to reform the police estate whilst delivering greater value for taxpayers’ money, the project won the Delivering Value Award.

Nominated by building contractors, Speller Metcalfe, the £18.3 million project was overseen by the PCC’s Estates team in partnership with West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service.

The project was also shortlisted for the Building Project of the Year Award.
