Op Sceptre - Knife Surrender

Dear Resident

This week West Mercia Police is once again joining other forces from across the country for Op Sceptre, a week of action to tackle knife crime.

Don't forget that during this week members of the public are being encouraged to drop off unwanted knives and blades in dedicated knife surrender bins to ensure they are disposed of safely and do not get into the wrong hands.

If you or someone you know wants to safely dispose of a knife or bladed weapon, a knife surrender bin will be provided by a member of the Alvechurch and Wythall & Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team's (SNT) on 24/05/2025 at the following times and locations:

St Chads Park, Rubery - Between 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

Monument Lane, Lickey- Between 11:30 am -12:30 pm-on Beacon Hill car park.

Wythall Park, Silver Street- Between 13:30 pm - 14:30 pm on Wythall Park car park.

Regards
