Malvern Response and Neighbourhood Police officers this afternoon responded to a report of a man unconscious on the Malvern Hills near to British Camp. The exact location was unclear at first, so officers climbed the hill from two locations, in an attempt to reach the man as quickly as possible. Fire service and Ambulance were also contacted.  Once the man had been located, officers commenced CPR and assured other emergency services knew their exact location. An air ambulance was on scene with specialist medics, but unfortunately despite the best efforts of all those involved, the man who was in his late 70’s could not be saved.
