The Morville Annual Community Event : Monday 19 May 18:30

Dear Resident,

Police Community Support Officers Helen Scott and Malcolm Goddard attended the Morville Annual Community Event on Monday 19th May 2025.  This community meeting was attended by Parish Councillors,  partner agencies, volunteers from a number of local groups and many members of the public.  The meeting gave local people the opportunity to meet and chat with local service providers in an informal and welcoming environment.

We chatted to several members of the public about a range of issues, including rural burglaries, speeding on the A458 and the use of illegal drugs in remote rural areas.  We were made to feel very welcome by the organisers of the event and everybody present.  The atmosphere was very friendly and there was more than enough cake and beverages for all present.

Officers try to attend as many events like this as they can as it gives them an opportunity to meet and chat with people in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team can be contacted on email bmw.snt@westmercia.police.uk

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
