There has been reports  of bogus door to door sales people in your area. This is a reminder to always be mindful who you speak to at the door and to always protect yourself.

Make sure you check identity if your not happy with this do not let them in

Never leave your front door unlocked/open unattended 

Take time to consider your options and research costs

If in doubt contact trading standards

If you feel pressured say NO 

Legitimate builders do not cold call

Do not pay upfront for goods or services  you have not received

Please be careful and lookout for vulnerable neighbours  if you do see anything suspicious please report via 101
