I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Personal theft , which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. 355_I_24062025 On Tuesday 24th June 2025, at approx 11:30 a couple were walking through St Peters from their home address. Whilst walking through Kingfisher park, an unknown female has approached them, claiming to be getting signatures from residents to support UNICEF.
The female has started to engage with the couple, encouraging them to sign the forms in support of UNICEF. Whilst doing this, the female has become very hands on with the female victim. Putting her arms around her in what appeared to be a friendly and encouraging way. It as not until later a few moments later once the couple have walked off that they have noticed that the female has removed the Victims gold necklace from around her neck without her knowing.
The female was white, eastern European, 5ft 6, medium build (approx size 14 dress size) mid-twenties, with straight dark brown hair that went past her shoulders. Wearing a Navy blazer and trousers with a white contrast and carried a clipboard and pen.
We are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the suspect in the area of Kingfisher park or around the St Peters estate. We are also asking that should you encounter anything suspicious such as this, that you call 101.
Many thanks PC James 21344 Nunnery and Battenhall SNT
