Pershore SNT engagement van in Peopleton.

Pershore SNT visits Peopleton.

Yesterday Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team was pleased to take the engagement van to Peopleton to meet members of the local community to discuss issues which are affecting their day to day lives and what we can do to help alleviate the problems. A variety of issues were discussed with residents including the volume and speed of HGVs driving through the village at antisocial times of the day and night, inconsiderate parking, illegal use of quad bikes on farm land and general antisocial behaviour.  We were lucky to have local councillor Linda Robinson join us for the afternoon, whose input was invaluable.

While we were already aware of the majority of the issues raised and are already taking steps to correct the behaviours involved, we were unaware of some of the issues due to the fact that we had not been contacted to discuss the issues. As ever, if you have any concerns in your local area that you think your local Safer Neighbourhood Team could help with, please contact us via 101 or 999 depending on the severity of the issue and we will do our best to help.

We look forward to seeing you at some of the future engagements we have planned in your community in the near future.
