Mature drivers invited to attend virtual reality awareness session

Alongside Telford & Wrekin Council, Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service and West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner, we are inviting mature drivers to attend a free awareness session where they can experience a virtual reality film which has been developed specifically to help drivers understand the changes that happen as we age and how it can affect our driving.

Sessions are running on Wednesday 9th July at Tweedale Fire Station, from 10:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm. 

If you would like to book a place, please email RoadSafety@telford.gov.uk and please indicate your preference for the morning or afternoon session. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.  

Sessions are aimed primarily at drivers aged 65+ or family members who may wish to attend on behalf of a relative who is a mature driver.
