Abandoned vehicle

Concerned residents contacted Bridgnorth safer neighbourhood team after a vehicle had been left at a location for some weeks .

The vehicle was seen being dropped off on a transporter where it was left for approximately 3 weeks without being moved .

Vehicle checks were carried out by officers to find that the vehicle was untaxed and un-insured, a local address was checked for the registered keeper but that person had not lived there for over a year and no forwarding address was left .

so under DVLA powers officers were able to seize the vehicle for no tax .

If you should have concerns about a vehicle you believe to be abandoned then please drop us an e mail at

Thanks Kind regards
