HOT HOT HOT!

My week started as with a lot of yours with a minutes Silence on 07/07/2025 in memory of the London Bombings. Such a sad time, now 20 years ago. But policing will always continue as did i!

On 09/07/2025 I was involved in an Operation around Kidderminster Town Centre. This operation led to three people being arrested and one high risk missing person being found for West Midlands Police. All thanks to the great planning of PC BUNCE on town SNT and the other officers that joined in.

The Oldington, Foley and Sutton Park team was invited to join Community Housing on a walk around Greatfield Road and Tomkinson Drive. This was a nice walk and met some of the lovely community who joined us. They explained issues they had been having and we helped where we could. I even got my hands dirty sorting out a gate malfunction… but please don’t come to me with all your jobs around the house.

Today was the Birchen Coppice School fate which unfortunately I couldn’t attend due to arrest attempts, but my colleagues attended and had a good time. I will always try and come out to these events when I can, even in the melting temperatures.

Everyone please don’t forget it is the Fire Station open day tomorrow (12/07) 11:00 until 15:00. I unfortunately won’t be able to make it but the team will be there to greet you, give important information and have lots of things for show and tell. Remember to cover up or sun cream up because it will be another scorching day!

All the best to you all and see you again on Tuesday 15th July 2025. Be safe!
