This afternoon I attended the family fun day at St Mary's Church, Pickersleigh.
It was great to engage with many families enjoying themselves at this event, showing the Children the Police car and how to set off the sirens.
Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) participate in community engagement at fun days to build positive relationships with residents, improve trust, and foster cooperation. These events provide opportunities to interact with the public in a relaxed setting, address concerns, and promote a sense of community safety.
