Dear Residents,

To make you all aware, the Police have received a report on the 7th of August in relation to a burglary which tool place in Blakemere Close.

The residents has discovered that their back door was wide open with their house and car keys being stolen. Their car has also been stolen.

We encourage people to be vigilant with their vehicle security and follow some of the below measures:

Place any keys into a faraday bag

When parking at night consider parking in well lit locations that may be covered by CCTV

Ensure your vehicle is locked

Install exterior security lights/cctv to both the front and rear of your premises

If not already installed consider replacing your home door locks with anti snap locks or adding extra security locks to your doors

Install a high-quality intruder alarm

Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity either by calling 101 or by making an online report via the West Mercia Police website.
