DOG FOULING

Let’s keep Ombersley Memorial Village Field clean and safe for everyone

Ombersley Memorial Village field is a special place for the whole community to enjoy — especially the many children who use it regularly.

Most dog owners are fantastic about cleaning up after their pets but not everyone is as thoughtful, and this can make the field less safe and pleasant for others. More importantly it creates a health risk, particularly for young children.

We really don’t want to stop dogs from being walked on the field so please clean up after your dog and encourage others to do the same.

Sadly, if the dog fouling persists we will have to review whether dog walking can continue on the field.

Together, let's keep the field a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone.

Thank you.

Duty to Remove:

Dog owners or anyone in charge of a dog must remove faeces immediately after the dog fouls

Dog fouling incidents can be reported to the local council, often through their website

Local authorities have the power to issue FPNs for dog fouling
