Anti-social behaviour guidance |
||
Dear Resident
We are working hard to tackle Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Belmont area and the information provided to us by residents can be essential in taking action to make a difference where you live. We are aware of the number of illegal e-bikes, motorcycles and scooters that are being used in an anti-social manner around the area. As a team, we are patrolling to provide visibility and act as a deterrent for this behaviour.
We advise any witnesses to this ASB to get in contact with Police and provide as much information as possible, such as names of people who could own an illegal bike, video evidence etc.
In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999, and 101 in a non-emergency. If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org You can also use our website www.westmercia.police.uk to report incidents. Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
Kind regards, Southside and Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team | ||
