Parking concerns |

Dear Resident We are working hard to tackle parking concerns outside of the local schools in Pershore Town.
Today PCSO Ashley and PCSO Rice have been patrolling outside Cherry Orchard Primary School together with the Parking enforcement officer.
Inconsiderate or illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users in danger. It can also create an obstruction for emergency vehicles. While some enforcement activity is carried out jointly with partners, (relevant local authority) employ parking enforcement officers to assist with these issues. But often problems can be resolved through raising awareness of the impact or consequences or other practical measures. We have been: You can find more information and guidance on parking concerns here: Parking issues and abandoned vehicles | West Mercia Police Many thanks for your help and support. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can effectively both prevent and detect crime and keep our communities safe.
We understand that parking is difficult outside of schools but the safety of students and other pedestrians and road users is extremely important to us. We will be patrolling all schools over the next coming weeks in the mornings and afternoons to make sure that everyone is taking extra care when they are dropping off and picking up students.
Thankyou for your cooperation.
