Officers from the Stourport and Bewdley Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out an operation yesterday with other colleagues from Wyre Forest Safer Neighbourhood Team aimed at tackling the illegal use of e-bikes and e-scooters.
During the course of the operation, officers identified a vehicle of interest in Stourport. Upon stopping the vehicle, a male was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. A full investigation is now underway. PC Bennett from Stourport SNT commented:
"While we remain committed to addressing the unlawful use of e-bikes and e-scooters, this does not detract from our broader mission to combat crime in all its forms. This arrest highlights that our efforts continue to yield results across multiple areas. Let this serve as a clear message to those involved in drug activity."
