Vehicle Stop Checks on Cartway, Bridgnorth

Dear Resident,

On Tuesday, 4th November 2025 PC Lall and Senior PCSO Dunn-Brown conducted proactive stop checks on vehicles travelling down Cartway in Bridgnorth following ongoing community concerns about traffic flow and road use.

A total of 17 vehicles were stopped and spoken to during the operation. We’re pleased to report that every driver had a legitimate reason for using the route, including access to local properties, deliveries, and essential travel.

These checks were carried out respectfully and with the aim of reassuring residents, gathering insight, and maintaining safety in the area. We thank all drivers for their cooperation and understanding.
