Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team have been in the Woodrow area delivering leaflets on cold calling and rogue traders.

Remember:

Check before you open! Look through a window or peep-hole.

If it’s not someone you know or a pre-arranged visit – don’t open the door!

Tell unexpected callers to return later when you’re not alone.

Verify their credentials by calling the company using a number you find yourself.

Report anything suspicious – even small details can stop a scam!
