Mature Driver Awareness Sessions in Telford and Oswestry during December

Mature drivers across Shropshire are invited to book a free place at one of our mature driver awareness sessions which are taking place across the county during December: 

Two sessions are available on each date: morning (10:00am-12:00pm) or afternoon (1:00pm-3:00pm). 

Events are delivered in partnership by West Mercia Police, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, Telford & Wrekin Council and West Mercia PCC. Sessions are free to attend but places must be booked in advance. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come-first served basis so don’t delay!

To book a place on the Telford event (Weds 3rd December): 

Please email Telford & Wrekin Council (roadsafety@telford.gov.uk) and indicate your preference for the morning or afternoon session. 

To book a place on the Oswestry event (Tues 9th December): 

Please email West Mercia Police Road Safety Team (RoadSafety1@westmercia.police.uk) and indicate your preference for the morning or afternoon session. 

Sessions are aimed primarily at drivers aged 65+. Attendees will experience a virtual reality film which has been developed specifically to help drivers understand the changes that happen as we age and how it can affect our driving.
