Hundreds of poppies created by communities across West Mercia |

Armed Forces honoured in Malvern ceremony led by PCC
At the weekend and today, the PCC together with members of his team have attended Remembrance services and ceremonies in Malvern, Kidderminster, Worcester and at West Mercia Police HQ in Hindlip.
The event at Malvern police station, where the PCC gathered with veterans, local dignitaries, police officers and schoolchildren, was the culmination of the PCC's Pin Your Poppy project, which saw hundreds of poppies being created across our communities and being pinned on to six Unknown Tommy soldier statues.
The PCC and West Mercia Police have a proud and long history of recognising the role both former and serving military personnel play in keeping our communities safe, and a number have chosen to join West Mercia’s ranks when returning to civilian life.
