Dear resident, Please be extra vigilant when answering the phone to unknown/cold callers. In a recent case, scammers are identifying themselves as the fraud department of your bank. They then ask if you have made a transaction overseas, when you say No, they then tell you that your online banking has been breached and ask you to download Kraken (bitcoin app) and transfer some money to make it safe. *** YOUR BANK WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO DO THIS **** Please have a read of the attached document from Nationwide about how to know what warning signs to look for. | ||
