Wishing you a Happy and safe New Year

As the festive and new year period comes to a close, officers from the North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out across Wem, Whitchurch and Market Drayton, working hard to keep our communities safe and feeling supported.

From increased patrols in our night time economy areas, to visibility in our town centres and neighbourhoods, our focus has been on preventing crime, offering reassurance, and being there when you need us most.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to speak with us, shared information, or simply looked out for those around you. Community safety is always a team effort, and your support makes a real difference.

As we head into 2026, please continue to look after yourselves and each other. If something doesn’t feel right, report it. If someone looks like they need help, check in. Together, we can keep North Shropshire safe.
