Local Speed Survey

Dear Resident

PC LOFTUS & PC SIVITER were out on the A454 Worfield area between 10:15 and 10:50hrs on 6th January 2026 conducting a speed survey within the 40mph stretch by the Wheel public house and fuel station.

19 vehicles were checked with the mean average speed of 31mph.

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

All data is collated and sent to our Roads Safety Team and shared with Parish Councils.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
