Avian Flu detected in Redditch🦢 We’ve had some swans and geese found unwell or dead at Arrow Valley Lake, Avian Flu has been detected and we continue to monitor the situation carefully. Here’s some advice if you spot a dead or sick bird in and around the borough ❌Please don’t touch or pick up any sick or dead wild birds. This helps protect both people and other wildlife. ✅Stick to paths and keep dogs on leads. ❌Do not feed the birds to stop them gathering and the virus spreading. ✅If you find a bird that is injured, unwell or has died, please report it to parksandopenspaces@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk and we will report it to DEFRA. You can also report dead wild birds directly to Defra online at https://bit.ly/3Y880CA or by calling 03459 33 55 77 (option 7), using What3Words will provide a more accurate location.
