Shoplifter located and reported for summons within an hour of offending

Yesterday morning whilst on patrols, Police were stopped outside B&Q by staff reporting that a shoplifter had just left the store having stolen tools. PC Matt Waite located the suspect shortly after and took him to the police station for an interview. 

The 28 year old Malvern man was reported for summons and will next appear at Worcester magistrates court.

It was less than an hour after the offence that the male had been formally dealt with. Unfortunately the paperwork for court was not so quick to complete.
