🚔 Speed Enforcement in Broseley – Operation Aurora

PC Thomas has been supporting Broseley & Much Wenlock Safer Neighbourhood Team with targeted speed enforcement following concerns raised by Broseley Town Council. Two locations identified by residents as problem areas were checked:

On Dark Lane, 30 vehicles were checked and one was found exceeding the 30mph limit.
However, on Avenue Road, 33% of vehicles checked were speeding, with the highest speed recorded at 48mph. Worryingly, 6 out of the 10 vehicles are registered to Broseley addresses.  Those identified will be dealt with appropriately in line with enforcement procedures.
