24hr Fundraiser Event for Local Firefighter Tyler |

On 18–19 April, firefighters from Tweedale Fire Station will take on a 24-hour endurance challenge to support there colleague and friend Tyler Davies. Starting at midday on Saturday 18 April, we will climb The Wrekin continuously for 24 hours wearing full fire kit. The first climb 3 firefighters will complete the Wrekin in breathing apparatus under air. The aim is as a team to climb the Wrekin on the hour every hour for 24 hours in full fire kit. This will add up to climbing higher than Everest as a collective. This event is about standing beside one of our own. Tyler is currently battling terminal cancer, and we want to raise as much money as possible to support him and his family.
Members of the public are welcome to come along and support the event.
