Wenlock Scouts Fun Day

Good Afternoon Resident,

This Afternoon, PCSO Miller and Oakley attended the Much Wenlock Scouts Fun Day to support their event and engage with the community. The purpose of our attendance was to carry out community engagement by speaking with young people, parents and volunteers, helping to build positive relationships and increase trust in local Policing. 

We were also there to provide Crime Prevention advice, offering guidance on staying safe. Our presence offered visibility and reassurance so that everyone could enjoy the day feeling safe and supported. 

In addition, we attended to show our continued support for youth organisations, recognising the valuable role the Scouts play in developing confidence, skills and community spirit among young people. 

Events like this allow us to connect with residents in a relaxed setting, listen to concerns and strengthen our partnership with the community.
