Safer Roads Operation on the A449, Malvern & Upton Road, callow End

Yesterday, officers from the Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team and Roads Policing, working alongside Malvern Hills District Council, carried out a traffic operation on the A449, Malvern Road and Upton Road, Callow End.

During the checks, several motorists were spoken to regarding a range of issues including possible drink‑driving, vehicle road‑worthiness, no tax or insurance, driving licence offences, non‑compliant number plates, and insecure loads. This resulted in one vehicle being seized, multiple tickets issued, and words of advice given where appropriate.

In addition, speed enforcement was conducted along the A449 corridor, targeting areas where community concerns have been raised. 

We continue running these operations across Malvern to help tackle road safety concerns and respond directly to issues raised by local residents.
