Dear Resident,
Reporting Crime Without Fear – Your Community Needs You Information from members of the public plays a vital role in helping to prevent and detect crime, and in keeping our communities safe. However, we recognise that not everyone feels able to speak directly to the police. You may have information about criminal activity and know who is responsible, but feel worried about coming forward. Concerns about attending court, giving evidence, or the potential impact on you or your family are completely understandable. If this is the case, there is another option available to you. What is Crimestoppers? Crimestoppers is an independent charity that provides a safe and secure way to share information about crime completely anonymously. It operates separately from the police, ensuring your identity is fully protected. When you contact Crimestoppers: 100% Anonymous – Always Your anonymity is guaranteed. You can report what you know with confidence, without fear of being identified. Just tell them what you know — not who you are. Why Your Information Matters Even the smallest piece of information can make a difference. What you share could help: By passing on information, you are helping to make your community a safer place for everyone. How to Contact Crimestoppers You can contact Crimestoppers anonymously at any time: Telephone: 0800 555 111
Thank you for your support in keeping your community safe.
