SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) Officer's assisted colleagues with Warrants carried out on Thursday 25th JUNE. Seven people were arrested during a pre-planned operation in Shropshire linked to modern slavery, burglary and drugs supply. Officers carried out nine warrants across Shropshire following a two-year investigation into serious and organised crime across the county and elsewhere in the country. The investigation, ran by the force’s Child Exploitation Team, has been focused on the protection of vulnerable children and modern slavery and human trafficking offences, whilst also dealing with criminality impacting rural communities with farms being targeted, as well as drug supply in the area.
