Vehicle Seized

Dear NHM users,

A number of reports of a vehicle appearing abandoned in a public car park in Whittington have been received by the Rural North Safer Neighbourhoods Team. Yesterday evening the SNT Police Officer attended the location in question, located the vehicle and following checks discovered that the vehicle had no insurance or any valid vehicle tax with it showing SORN. The vehicle was therefore seized using DVLA powers for the lack of vehicle tax and is now off the road.

The Neighbourhood Team would like to remind vehicle owners and users, of the requirement of having valid vehicle tax and that this includes where vehicles are parked on public access car parks along with our roads.
