🚨 WORCESTER – SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY AND VEHICLE SECURITY

We are aware of reports of one or more males trying vehicle door handles in the Arboretum ward of Worcester and surrounding areas.

We have made arrests in connection with these matters, but are aware of further reports over the weekend, including images and footage being shared on social media.

Please help us prevent further offences.

🔒 Take a moment to check that your vehicle is locked and secure, and avoid leaving valuables inside. These simple steps can make a big difference in reducing your chances of becoming a victim.

Two important things we need residents to do:

1️⃣ If you see it happening – call 999.

If you see someone trying vehicle door handles or acting suspiciously and believe a crime is in progress, please call 999. Reporting incidents as they happen gives officers the best opportunity to respond.

2️⃣ If you have information or footage – tell us.

If you have clear CCTV or doorbell footage, recognise someone involved, or have witnessed something and can provide a good description (particularly clothing), please report this via 101 or our online reporting service.

We would also ask that you email the details to ac.snt@westmercia.police.uk so our local neighbourhood officers can review the information and identify opportunities to investigate.

Please don't assume that because something has been shared on Facebook, it has already been reported to police.

Your information could make a real difference in identifying those responsible and preventing further offences.
